Some of you who have seen the above blog header of my Jetta on fire, are probably wondering what is that all about. So I will explain. Every year for several years now, except this year, we have been going to a cabin in Shaver Lake owned by some family of my Sister In-Law Stephanie. Its a good time and we end up playing Settlers of Catan or Boggle, watch movies, play in the snow, etc. Well last year there was not much snow and one night my brother Chris and I started taking some photography of the stars and full moon using long exposures. One thing led to another and before you knew it, we were writing our names in in the sky with an L.E.D. flash light, out-lining the car, etc. It was super funny and fun, then Chris got the brilliant idea of spraying some engine cleaner on teh back of my car and lighting it up with a BBQ lighter to make it look like flames were coming out of my tailpipe. What we both did not realize is that the tailpipe is on the other side of the car. How hard would it have been to move the car the other direction? Not really but I guess that is what makes the photo even funnier. So one thing to think about is that when I change the header here before too long, this blog entry will make no sense to anyone.
